The Purple Lotus cares as much about its community as it does its patients. This is why we strive every day to help those in need inside and out the patient center. 100% off all charitable donations are donated towards helping local families and communities!
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
Domestic violence should not happen to anybody. Ever. Period. Yet, on average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men (NCADV, 2017).
This statistic is not only alarming to us as a collective, but also a nation. This is why Purple Lotus Patient Center of San Jose is teaming up with Walk A Mile In Her Shoes to increase awareness and shed light on how this nation-wide problem can be dealt with head on.
On June 21, the staff and patients of Purple Lotus Patient Center will be joining the effort to fight back and bring an end to domestic violence. The walk will include over 1,000 men walking in heels, one for every survivor of sexual assault YWCA will help this year alone.
Refugee Foster Care
Every year, thousands of children and youths around the world are separated from their families because of war, persecution, and trafficking. On behalf of the Catholic Charities, PLPC will be accepting donations for the Refugee Foster Care Program, the only program in Northern California that places unaccompanied refugee minors into long-term foster care homes all over the Bay Area.

We plan to continue supporting our community and extend the Lotus Lifestyle to all parts of the Bay Area.

March of Dimes
Prematurity is the #1 killer of babies in the United States. We are working to change that and help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. From polio to prematurity the March of Dimes has focused on researching the problems that threaten our children and finding ways to prevent them.
Our chapters provide support, awareness, information and education to families, professionals and the public. We work towards cooperation, coordination and the creation of services between individuals and agencies. We strive for advocacy, research, education and inclusion for individuals challenged with autism.
